Ethereum recorded an impressive price increase 7.5%, exceeding 3,000$ and reaching 3,200$. The coin has now gained a total of 36% in a week after rising above the symmetrical triangle last week.
Since the breakout, Ethereum has continued to set new ATH prices every day until it hited resistance at 2,800$ last Thursday. This was finally broken on Saturday when the bulls rallied to 2,950$. Today, a rally 7.5% has finally gotten past 3,000$ as ETH is now grappling with resistance at around 3,160$.
Looking ahead, the first resistance above the ATH is at 3225 $ (1.618 Fibonacci extension – blue). This is followed by 3325 $ (1.618 Fibonacci extension – red), 3400$, 3500$ (1.272 Fibonacci extension) and 3656 $(1.414 Fibonacci extension).
